Our client, a freight forwarding company headquartered in Turkey with branches in the USA, Germany, Ethiopia and Djibouti, is now seeking a Sea Freight Specialist (m/f/d) for export and import handling for its newly planned branch in Barcelona, to start via direct placement from around August/ September.
This is a 40-hour-per-week role and you will be offered a permanent contract on attractive terms, in line with the Spanish labour market. 

And these are your responsibilities as a Sea Freight Specialist (m/f/d) in Spain:

• Customer support and order processing
• They handle the entire operational process for export and import sea freight from start to finish, whilst keeping everything under control
• Preparation of the necessary documents via Cargomax - Xinerji
• Customs clearance will be handled by external customs agents

What you bring to the role as a Sea Freight Specialist (m/f/d) in Spain

• A completed commercial apprenticeship in freight forwarding, logistics or shipping as a freight forwarding and logistics services clerk (m/f/d) or a shipping clerk (m/f/d), or an equivalent qualification
• You have at least three years’ professional experience in the operational handling of sea freight, covering both exports and imports (primarily exports)
• Knowledge of and experience with the Spanish market and local business practices are essential, as is a willingness to relocate to Barcelona
• Excellent English, good Spanish and good to excellent Turkish are essential 
• Excellent communication and coordination skills
